Export Policy Statement

Ultra Electronics’ EMS Development Corporation (EMS) and its subsidiary operations possess both U.S. Department of Defense classified information and technology as well as unclassified information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). A Technology Control Plan (TCP) establishes controls necessary to ensure that no export of controlled services, articles, or technology is made without authorization by the appropriate U.S. Government agency, including the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) or the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS). At the direction of the DDTC, Ultra EMS and its subsidiary operations are under the ITAR registration of Ultra Electronics Inc.

In some instances, it will be necessary that a license be obtained before sharing information with customers and suppliers. Information needed to support a license application includes, but is not limited to, the name of the end user, the program name, the purpose of the product or information, and identification of individuals who will have access to the products or information.
